At Flourishing Minds, I believe true well-being starts from within—with mindfulness, self-awareness, and emotional resilience.
I help tenderhearted women navigate life with clarity, confidence, and ease by offering simple, powerful tools for inner growth, safety, and connection.
Life can feel overwhelming, but when we care for our minds and hearts with grace and intention, we create space for balance, strength, and joy. I’m here to guide you on that journey and help you build resilience, confidently move through challenges, and flourish from the inside out.
Through mindfulness and somatic practices, we empower women to live with clarity, purpose, and heart so they can create meaningful change in their lives, relationships, and communities.
ABOUT FRANCES
Hi, I’m Frances! I’m a mind-body practitioner, leadership coach, and founder of Flourishing Minds.
My mission is to help you cultivate inner safety and connection so you can flourish and contribute to a thriving and more resilient world for this generation and the next.
As a first-generation Filipina immigrant, I understand the complexities of navigating dual cultures while striving to succeed. When I moved to the U.S., I believed I would seamlessly integrate, but reality was far different. I struggled at work, endured an unhealthy and stressful relationship, and faced significant familial obligations. I lived in constant survival mode, which eventually led to burnout and symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder.
But I didn’t give up on myself.
Over the years, I discovered tools and practices to ground myself in moments of anxiety and worry. I trained with brilliant mentors and teachers who taught me to tap into the wisdom of my body and be confident in my ability to lead from a powerful place within. I committed to healing, trusting myself, and living authentically.
Instead of seeing my struggles as failures, I now recognize them as my life’s “PhD.” These sacred wounds have become my source of power. By embracing them, I’ve gained the wisdom, resilience, and tools to help others on their journeys.
Today, I want to pay it forward.
I see myself as a guide and a space holder who helps you align with your true self. My work also focuses on helping you expand your capacity to lead—not just for yourself but as a catalyst for positive change in your home, workplace, and community.
On Leadership:
Leadership is often seen as “doing,” but I believe it’s about being—being embodied, grounded, and attuned to your mind, heart, and soul. True leadership is about congruence: aligning who you are with how you show up in the world.
As highly sensitive and tenderhearted women, we navigate unique challenges in a world that can feel overwhelming to our nervous systems. Yet, for some of us, the call to lead remains strong. You have a vision, a purpose greater than your fears, and, if you’re like me, a strong desire to be a source of positive change for others. You’re ready to expand, embrace discomfort, and stretch beyond your comfort zone.
Leadership doesn’t have to follow society’s examples of dominance and control. Instead, we can lead with our own quiet strength, tenderness, and grace. We can create spaces where safety, belonging, and connection are possible—whether at home, in the workplace, or in our communities.
My Journey:
For years, I struggled with stepping into visibility. Each time I tried to show up, I found myself retreating. I thought it was a flaw in me and that I wasn’t good enough. But over the years, I realized that it was how my nervous system responded to perceived threats.
As an empath, the world felt like a jungle, with my “lizard brain” on high-alert all the time! I stopped because I didn’t feel safe. This wasn’t failure. It was my body’s natural response to protect me. Understanding this changed everything.
Safety is the foundation of growth. When we feel safe, we can flourish and step into leadership with courage and resilience.
For Tenderhearted Women Leaders:
Whether you’re managing a team, guiding a family, or running a business, leadership is about taking a stand and embodying it. Impactful leadership begins with inner work. It’s about understanding your emotions, cultivating self-compassion, and showing up fully.
The tools I share will help you:
Develop inner safety and self-regulation.
Love yourself more deeply.
Cultivate compassion for yourself and others.
Lead with courage, wisdom, and heart.
Flourish from the inside out.
If you’re ready to start your journey, this work can help you become a conscious leader the world needs today.
My Invitation to You:
Growth happens in small, intentional steps. Flourishing doesn’t mean striving or hustling; it means showing up for yourself in ways that feel good and true. Whether it’s through mindfulness, somatic practices, or connecting with like-minded women, I’m here to help make the journey feel lighter and more meaningful.
If you want to lead from the heart, have a more loving relationship with yourself and others, and desire to be a catalyst of change, I’m here to help. We’ll create a safer, more connected world, one step at a time.
